Ratio Eight Thermal Carafe & Dripper

I am a long time Ratio customer and have already passed on the first (start-up, don’t know the #) ratio to my daughter and it is still working great. She accidentally my old glass carafe so I gave her my newer thermal carafe, et al. At any rate we are now a two-generation Ratio family and wouldn’t use anything else!! I used a coffee press while I waited for my replacement carafe and oh my … so happy to be complete again!

I love that it appears to be genuinely plastic free. The stopper makes for a clunky pour and the thermos doesn’t really keep my coffee hot, but I suppose a glass carafe, the only other plastic-free option, wouldn’t either.

Great carafe, stays warm and has nice weight and balance. I bought this to avoid toxicity from black plastic coffee maker components, but have been really surprised and impressed how much I'm enjoying this new system. A little more effort, but the result is satisfying.

So essential if you like to enjoy a hot cup of coffee throughout the day!

My wife and I take the carafe out to the porch with us. Keeps the coffee really hot without continuing to cook it. Very convenient.

We love the fact that there’s no plastic at all. However, we wish the carafe held warmth better…. Especially for something that is all metal and costs so much.

Very beautiful and fits our v60 dripper. The ratio eight dripper is great as well. Keeps the coffee warm for a short amount of time, maybe an hour or so. When pouring near the end, the last cup, it becomes very hard to pour. I have to almost turn the carafe upside-down and this often results in splashing and spilling.

The handle and the carafe, no matter how hard I tighten, seem to always still leak. The carafe does not keep liquid warm like vacuum sealed carafes I've had in the past. If someone was asking, should they buy this, I would say no

This thermal carafe is very heavy in a good way! I love the ceramic pour over dripper. Overall this is a home run!

Keeps my coffee at the perfect brew temperature. Beautifully styled to go along with my machine.

Bought this to replace the horrible original carafe for the 6, even after reading some negative reviews saying it didn’t work well with the 6. It works perfectly, and the dripper with chemex filters made an exceptionally better brew than the original set up. It doesn’t spill over unless you put too much water in, and I’ve had zero issues with the machine registering the presence of a carafe and not brewing. Well worth the money to get rid of that terribly designed ratio 6 carafe, and brews an even better batch.
